About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 24‑bed Cardiovascular Telemetry Stepdown Unit (J62). This high‑acuity unit cares for patients recovering from advanced cardiac surgeries and complex cardiovascular conditions, offering a fast‑paced environment to develop specialized cardiac expertise.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to post‑surgical cardiac patients, including those with CABG, valve repairs, VADs, LVADs, and total artificial hearts.
Monitor patient status, respond to clinical data indicating risk, and initiate corrective actions to ensure patient safety.
Document care accurately in medical records and collaborate with a success coach and interdisciplinary team.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) with current state RN licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for critical‑care areas.
New graduate RN or less than one year of RN experience.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
