RN Ambulatory – Pain Management

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Pain Management Center at Hillcrest Hospital. This ambulatory position provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing acute or chronic pain, supporting them from initial assessment through discharge.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, telephone triage, and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Provide patient and family education, document health information, and coordinate care with physicians and LIPs.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures as needed.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and at least one year of recent clinical experience.
• Demonstrated clinical competence and ability to work PRN variable shifts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Epic and other electronic medical record systems.
• Knowledge of medication administration, CPR, and emergency response protocols.
