RN Ambulatory – Neurology (PRN)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join its Neurology‑Ambulatory Operations team. This position provides flexible, per‑diem coverage in an outpatient setting, supporting patient care from intake through discharge.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory neurology setting, including assessments, medication administration, and telephone triage.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, operate patient‑care equipment, and support physician clinics and surgical procedures as needed.
• Develop and document health education for patients and families, and cover other nursing roles within the department.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) with current state RN licensure.
• Minimum one year of recent nursing experience or equivalent clinical experience in a related role.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for moderate sedation or cardiac stress testing areas.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (when applicable).
• Medication administration and emergency response (CPR) skills.
