RN Ambulatory – Cardiovascular Procedures & Testing

About the role

Join the Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital team as a Registered Nurse in the Ambulatory Cardiology department. You will provide patient‑centered nursing care for cardiovascular testing and imaging procedures, ensuring safety and a positive experience from admission through discharge.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, telephone triage, and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, administer medications, and monitor patients for ECG changes or instability.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures as needed.
• Provide health education to patients and families and document care plans.
• Participate in quality improvement, research activities, and professional development.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for moderate sedation or cardiac stress testing within six months of hire.
• At least one year of recent RN experience or equivalent clinical experience for internal transfers.
• Preferred: BSN degree, cardiology or strong LPN background, and one year of cardiac setting experience.
