RN Ambulatory – Breast Surgery

About the role

The RN Ambulatory – Breast Surgery position at Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital provides patient‑centered care for complex oncology patients in an outpatient setting. You will work closely with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high‑quality care throughout the treatment journey.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, telephone triage, and develop individualized care plans for breast oncology patients.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, and document changes in medical records.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, assist with specialized equipment, and manage prior authorizations and inbox communications.
• Provide education to patients and families about disease processes, treatment options, and self‑care.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program with current state RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ability to initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• At least one year of recent clinical experience in an ambulatory or related setting.
• Full range of motion, manual dexterity, and ability to lift light loads as described.
