Reverse Engineer (Malware Exploitation & Mobile)

About the role

CACI is hiring a Reverse Engineer in Annapolis Junction, focused on malware exploitation (MEX) and mobile capabilities. The role strengthens the company's endpoint and mobile toolsets by analysing and improving its technologies against an evolving cybersecurity landscape. It is a regular, full-time position requiring a minimum TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse malicious binaries through controlled execution and perform static analysis of assembly code.
• Overcome anti-analysis techniques to determine functionality, capability and call-backs, and help attribute activity to adversary infrastructure.
• Identify indicators of compromise and document them in detail.
• Enable malware detection, signature creation and mitigation through thorough information and documentation.

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Experience in malware reverse engineering.
• Experience in Computer Network Operations (CNO).
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, with 5 years of experience for a Bachelor's degree, 7 years for an Associate's degree, 3 years for a Master's degree, or 2 years for a Doctoral degree.
• CISSP, GIAC GREM or CREA certification.
• Desired: direct experience with DoD customers on defensive cyber and supporting the DoD cybersecurity mission.

• Proficiency in Python for reverse engineering and development.
