Data Transfer Agent (TS/SCI)

About the role

CACI is hiring a Data Transfer Agent (also called Data Transfer Officer) in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, within its Information Technology category. The agent oversees and governs the transfer of information into, out of, and between authorized systems, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, requirements and security controls, and acting as the point of contact for confidentiality, integrity and availability of organizational data. The position requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and is full time with no travel.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve transfer requests, validating justification and authorization
• Ensure use of approved data transfer methods
• Maintain transfer records and audit logs, and support continuous monitoring through regular reporting
• Serve as the primary point of contact for data transfer inquiries
• Handle daily ticket queue management, data transfer execution, and compliance and security monitoring

Required profile

• Active polygraph
• Experience supporting regulated information systems
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and information flow principles
• Familiarity with removable media procedures, cross-domain solutions and secure data transfer processes
• Strong understanding of audit, compliance and authorization requirements

Desired qualifications

• AWS certification; Solutions Architect - Associate level
• 2 years of design, implementation or consulting experience with distributed applications
• 2 years of experience with software development tools and methodologies
• 2 years of experience with documentation and written communication
• Technical associate's degree
