Retail Sales Expert - Miami

About the role

Archipelago Cosmetics is hiring a Retail Sales Expert for its melin brand in Miami. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. The Sales Expert provides a high level of attention to every guest entering the store, builds lasting relationships with customers and the brand, and handles opening and closing the business, the drawer and daily revenue drops.

Key responsibilities

• Engage new customers, personalize their experience and answer product questions with deep product knowledge
• Restock, handle back-of-house operations, supply needs and daily store maintenance
• Keep the retail floor clean and presentable, supporting store concepts and visual standards
• Open and close the store according to standard operating procedures
• Support Cashwrap and POS procedures, reconcile tills, process returns, exchanges, gift cards and discounts with manager approval
• Collaborate with leadership to communicate customer feedback and resolve customer issues professionally

Required profile

• At least one year of sales and merchandising experience, preferably in retail goods, including opening and closing duties
• Strong communication skills, independent work ethic, time management and organizational abilities
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed
• Able to lift and move objects up to 15 pounds and climb ladders or stairs
• Preferred: knowledge of action sports, golf, running and training, and a passion for the outdoors
