Part-Time Ticket Seller - Box Office

About the role

Legends Global, a partner to live events, venues and brands, is hiring a part-time Ticket Seller in Miami. Working under the direction of the Box Office Manager, the ticket seller processes ticket sales, handles will-call delivery and helps customers with service issues. The position is non-exempt, hourly.

Key responsibilities

• Process ticket sales at the box office and provide exceptional customer service
• Answer questions about event schedules, prices and ticket policies
• Balance transactions for the day and complete all necessary reports before leaving
• Verify daily receipts and return them to the secure area for deposit
• Record and investigate overages and shortages, reporting promptly to the Box Office Manager
• Work extended or irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed
• Follow opening and closing procedures to keep the area secure and energy efficient

Required profile

• High school or GED graduate
• At least one year of work-related experience or training
• Ticketmaster experience preferred
• Bilingual candidates preferred

Required skills

• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Knowledge of record keeping and reconciliation
• Demonstrated knowledge of ticket selling and box office operations
• Ability to count money and make change accurately
• Experience with computerized ticket systems preferred

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. The role is on site.
