About the role
This is a 1099 independent contractor position providing retail merchandising support for a small branded cooler/freezer unit at a local grocery store. The role offers flexible, as‑needed scheduling with a consistent weekly visit.
Key responsibilities
- Visit the store once per week to perform bi‑weekly full product changeouts, including defrosting, restocking, and updating signage.
- On additional visits, check inventory levels and restock as needed (average 20 minutes).
- Verify thermostat settings and report service via smartphone the same day, including required photos.
Required profile
- Lives within a 10‑15 mile radius of the store.
- Comfortable using a smartphone to report tasks.
- Seeking supplemental income rather than a full‑time position.
What we offer
- $15‑18 per visit (paid for a full hour even if the visit takes less time).
- Paid bi‑weekly via direct deposit.
