Retail Merchandising Associate – Charleston, WV

About the role

Strategic Retail Solutions (SRS) is looking for reliable, tech‑savvy merchandisers to join its gig‑based retail field team in Charleston. You will support in‑store merchandising programs, handling audits, planogram implementation and product placement on a project‑by‑project basis.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all types of resets, from simple updates to full aisle changes.
• Read, understand and accurately follow planograms.
• Perform audits, place and maintain POP and POS materials, pull and plug products as needed.
• Use a smartphone to enter data, submit detailed surveys and upload high‑quality photos live while in the store.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with store staff and take full responsibility for the assigned area.

Required profile

• Proven experience with resets and general merchandising.
• Organized, dependable and self‑motivated with the ability to plan ahead and meet deadlines.
• Reliable transportation and a valid, non‑expired driver’s license.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, squat, lift and carry boxes up to 40 lb.

Required skills

• Android or iPhone smartphone with reliable internet access.
• Proficiency using Google Chrome and third‑party mobile applications.
• Ability to submit surveys and photos live from the field.
