Retail Director

About the role

Assouline, the luxury culture brand, is seeking a Retail Director to lead its global boutique network, including flagship locations with bar and restaurant concepts. The role combines retail, cultural, and hospitality responsibilities to ensure each space functions as a destination.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute global retail strategy across all boutiques.
• Drive sales performance, profitability, and KPI achievement.
• Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Oversee hospitality operations (bars & restaurants) ensuring brand alignment and service excellence.
• Maintain elevated client experience and brand standards across retail and hospitality touchpoints.
• Lead, develop, and mentor Store Leaders and Hospitality Managers.
• Support boutique launches, international expansion, and new store operational setup.

Required profile

• 10+ years senior leadership experience in luxury retail.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑site retail operations and drive commercial results.
• Experience overseeing hospitality concepts (restaurant, bar, or café) is preferred.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and team‑building capabilities.
