Retail Assistant Manager

About the role

High Plainz Strains is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Fort Lupton dispensary. You will oversee store operations during assigned shifts, guide Front Desk Associates and Budtenders, and ensure a compliant, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily store activity, coordinate breaks, and maintain productivity during shifts.
• Handle cash drawer preparation, reconciliation, tip accounting, and opening/closing procedures.
• Resolve customer and employee issues, manage discounts, POS corrections, and compliance requirements.
• Communicate shift information to incoming staff and store leadership.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory or shift‑lead experience in retail, hospitality, or similar environments.
• Strong organization, time‑management, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Cash handling and reconciliation.
• Point‑of‑sale (POS) system operation.
