About the role
The Department of Psychology at Northeastern University seeks a full‑time Research Coordinator for the Plasticity in Neurodevelopment (PINE) Lab. The role supports Project SCALE, integrating low‑cost EEG methods across multiple Sub‑Saharan African sites and managing collaborations with the hardware partner.
Key responsibilities
- Manage project administration, including IRB submissions, financial reimbursements, database oversight, and data processing.
- Supervise and train lab volunteers, handle equipment procurement, and maintain laboratory websites.
- Develop and balance project budgets, support hiring activities, and draft laboratory procedures and manuals.
- Conduct data coding, analysis, and programming using MATLAB, Python, R, Unix, shell scripting, and HTML.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Developmental or Clinical Psychology, Neuroscience, Public Health, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
- Experience managing large‑scale pediatric or clinical trial data; familiarity with EEG or fMRI data is a plus.
