About the role
The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Dermatology seeks a full‑time Research Associate 1 to support laboratory research projects and advance scientific knowledge in dermatology.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret and follow research protocols, conduct experiments, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Collect, prepare, analyze, and evaluate specimens or tissue cultures, performing routine assays and statistical analysis.
- Contribute to the publication of significant results and stay current with relevant research findings and methods.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field.
- Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and teamwork orientation.
Required skills
- Proficiency with office software and relevant computer applications.
