Remote Exploit Developer – AI Cybersecurity Platform

About the role

Join DataAnnotation’s DataAnnotation team to work on cutting‑edge AI systems that power cybersecurity platforms. As an Exploit Developer you will evaluate AI‑generated security content, solve technical security challenges, and provide feedback that directly improves how AI models reason about real‑world threats.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated threat analyses, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques for accuracy.
• Design and solve security‑focused technical problems used to train AI models.
• Write clear technical explanations and produce security‑relevant code.
• Provide actionable feedback that shapes the next generation of AI security models.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in a cybersecurity role (e.g., penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or government/military cyber operations).
• Proficiency in coding and comfortable navigating/patching a codebase.
• Fluent English with strong written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant certifications (OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, etc.) are a plus.
