Remote Bookkeeper (Clio, QuickBooks, Gusto)

About the role

Geraci LLP, a nationally recognized law firm serving private lenders, is looking for an experienced, detail‑oriented Bookkeeper to join the team remotely. You will maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, and support the firm’s accounting function while collaborating closely with leadership and external accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general bookkeeping records, classify daily transactions, and reconcile bank and credit‑card accounts.
• Process vendor invoices, manage accounts payable, monitor accounts receivable, and prepare client invoices.
• Utilize Clio to maintain billing records, ensure consistency with QuickBooks, and support legal accounting compliance.
• Run payroll through Gusto, reconcile payroll reports, and handle employee reimbursements.
• Prepare monthly bookkeeping reports, supporting schedules, and assist external accountants with year‑end closing.

Required profile

• Proven experience in U.S. bookkeeping, preferably within a legal environment.
• Hands‑on expertise with Clio, QuickBooks, and Gusto.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, cash‑flow monitoring, and internal controls.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, remote setting.
