Remote Billing Compliance Specialist

About the role

As a Billing Compliance Specialist you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of financial operations, managing client enrollment, and handling canceled client files. You will process payments, update internal teams on approvals or rejections, and ensure accurate records of declined payments and outstanding invoices.

Key responsibilities

• Complete the enrollment process for clients.
• Close files of canceled clients.
• Process requested payments and update other departments on approvals or rejections.
• Send payment receipts and invoices to clients upon request.
• Ensure accurate and timely billing, resolving billing discrepancies.
• Conduct weekly and monthly audits of payroll for specific positions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role with financial record‑keeping and client interactions.
• Strong financial acumen with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software (Airtable, Velocify, etc.).
• Ability to use data analysis to improve billing processes and reduce errors.
• Effective collaboration with team members.
