Actuarial Associate – Leadership Development Program

About the role

The Actuarial Leadership Development Program (ALDP) at MassMutual offers a rotational associate position starting December 2026, providing exposure to multiple business lines and actuarial functions while supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in rotations across various actuarial functions and business lines.
• Work on high‑profile projects, including product development and market opportunity analysis.
• Engage with senior actuaries and executives through networking lunches and speaker series.
• Attend external seminars and internal learning programs to build technical and leadership skills.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, etc.).
• Passed at least four actuarial exams.
• Minimum three years of professional actuarial experience.
• Commitment to pursue Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries.

Required skills

• Strong analytical abilities and experience with actuarial modeling platforms.
• Proficiency in Excel and VBA.
• Experience with Prophet (preferred).
