About the role
Meijer is seeking a Relief Pharmacist to join its Bad Axe, Michigan pharmacy team. This role focuses on delivering safe, accurate prescription services while fostering a patient‑centered environment.
Key responsibilities
- Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
- Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members, and leadership.
- Hold pharmacy technicians accountable and mentor them.
- Motivate the team to achieve high performance.
- Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
- Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations where permitted.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Science or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
- Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
- Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
- Experience in retail/community pharmacy practice.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of pharmacy systems.
- Understanding of state and federal pharmacy regulations.
- Effective communication and change‑management abilities.
