About the role
Join Meijer’s pharmacy team in Bad Axe, Michigan as a part‑time Pharmacy Technician. You will support patient care by handling prescriptions, maintaining inventory, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Retrieve medication from inventory and input prescription data into the dispensing system.
- Create prescription labels, adjudicate insurance claims, and complete related paperwork.
- Order and stock prescription medications for the department.
- Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
- Maintain a clean, orderly pharmacy and protect patient confidentiality.
Required profile
- High School diploma or GED (or state‑equivalent requirements).
- Retail or community pharmacy experience.
- Excellent customer service and positive attitude.
- Strong attendance, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Required skills
- Proficient typing skills.
- Neat and legible penmanship.
- Basic math abilities.
