Rehabilitation Services Manager

About the role

The Rehabilitation Services Manager leads clinical operations, business planning, and quality improvement for the rehabilitation department at Lehigh Valley Health Network's Tobyhanna location. This role ensures high‑quality patient care while managing staff, resources, and program development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage clinical operations, financial planning, and quality improvement projects for rehabilitation services.
• Oversee staffing functions including interviews, orientation, performance appraisals, and employee development.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, service standards, and workflows to ensure consistent practice across the department.
• Coordinate patient care, assess progress, and administer evidence‑based therapeutic interventions.
• Promote team building, engagement, and a positive work environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech‑Language Pathology.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in the chosen discipline (PT, OT, or SLP).
• Licensed in the State of Pennsylvania (PT, OT, or SLP) upon hire.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
• Ability to make critical clinical and operational decisions.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of clinical operations and related business processes.
• Evidence‑based practice for therapeutic interventions.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• State licensure for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech‑Language Pathology.
• Physical ability to lift and carry 40‑50 lb, stand/walk for long periods, and perform patient transfers.
