Registered Radiology Technologist - General X‑Ray

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a Registered Radiology Technologist to perform general X‑ray, portable, and fluoroscopic examinations at Hillcrest Hospital. The position works night shifts (10:00 pm‑8:30 am) on a rotating holiday and weekend schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams, and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce high‑quality images, acquire, archive, transmit and print via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and education throughout procedures.
• Maintain documentation, address equipment malfunctions, and report to help desk.
• Assist with scheduling, prioritize patients, and process billing.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PACS for image management.
• Ability to operate general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic equipment.
• Knowledge of equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
