Registered Radiology Technologist – General X‑Ray

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Registered Radiology Technologist to join the General Radiology Diagnostic department at Medina Hospital. This PRN position provides flexible, pick‑up shifts and supports a patient‑centered imaging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic examinations using stationary, mobile, C‑arm, and fluoroscopy equipment.
• Produce high‑quality images, acquire, archive, transmit, and print them via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and education throughout the exam process.
• Address equipment malfunctions, notify management, and report issues to the help desk.
• Assist with scheduling, prioritize patients, and process billing.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Technologist in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred: at least one year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist.

Required skills

• Operation of X‑ray equipment, including stationary units, mobile machines, C‑arms, and fluoroscopy systems.
• Proficiency with Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
• Knowledge of radiation safety and standard precautions.
• Ability to lift and assist patients of varying weight.
