Registered Radiologic Technologist

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a Registered Radiologic Technologist to join the Radiology department at Hillcrest Hospital. This night‑shift position (7:30 pm‑6:00 am) includes on‑call responsibilities and offers a sign‑on bonus of up to $5,000.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic exams while ensuring high‑quality images and patient safety.
• Acquire, archive, transmit, and print images via PACS and assist with scheduling and billing.
• Educate patients about procedures, maintain documentation, and address equipment malfunctions.
• Lift or assist with lifting patients and follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred: one year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist.

Required skills

• Operation of x‑ray equipment and portable imaging devices.
• Proficiency with PACS for image acquisition, archiving, and transmission.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and dose minimization.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) skills.
