Registered Nurse - Surgical Clinic

About the role

AdventHealth is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Surgical Clinic in Hendersonville, North Carolina. The shift is Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and the pay range is $28.31 to $45.29.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients' and families' needs to provide quality care.
• Develop and communicate realistic problem lists for each patient with the patient and family.
• Implement medical plans of care, nursing interventions and procedures using necessary skills and judgment.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care.
• Provide patient education and support to address identified needs.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and take part in quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
