Registered Nurse – Senior Living Home Visits

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to provide home health services to seniors in the Frederick County area. This position offers flexible scheduling, one‑to‑one patient care, and a strong work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct home visits in assigned geographic territories, following each patient’s care plan.
• Administer medications, perform wound care, and carry out other treatments and procedures.
• Monitor client conditions, document observations, and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Complete client assessments, manage case coordination, and accurately record all care activities using a tablet‑based EMR system.

Required profile

• Current Maryland RN license with at least one year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel to assigned cases.
• Strong interpersonal skills and solid computer proficiency.

Required skills

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Proficiency using tablet devices for documentation.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and communication.
