Home Health Physical Therapist – Full/Part Time

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to provide home health visits in Frederick County, Maryland. The position can be full‑time or part‑time and offers a flexible schedule with no holidays or weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, including range of motion, strength, balance, and safety assessments.
• Implement wound‑care interventions using evidence‑based dressings and topical agents.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans that include therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance work.
• Educate clients and families on rehabilitative care to promote independent living.
• Accurately document all observations, interventions, and evaluations using a tablet‑based EMR system.

Required profile

• A current Maryland Physical Therapist (PT) license.
• Graduation from an APTA‑approved PT program.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records preferred.
