Contract Testing Psychologist (1099) - Texas

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates, which partners with Lyra Health, is hiring contract Testing Psychologists (1099) for its Center of Excellence for Neurodiversity in Texas. The center provides neuropsychological and psychological assessments, diagnosis and care for ADHD, and support for autism and learning differences. The psychologist performs comprehensive intake interviews and psychological assessments to support diagnostic clarity, treatment planning and intervention strategies for children, adolescents and adults.

Key responsibilities

• Work with patients of all ages and their families through intake interviews and psychological evaluations
• Administer, interpret and integrate psychological test batteries covering cognitive, emotional, behavioral and academic functioning
• Provide evidence-based diagnostic impressions and actionable recommendations
• Review work with psychometrists and psychometrist assistants, overseeing test administration, scoring and quality control
• Deliver feedback through video and live sessions
• Use telehealth platforms for remote assessments, adapting testing strategies for virtual delivery
• Conduct intake, testing and feedback sessions virtually or in person, as indicated

Required profile

• Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA or CPA accredited program
• Licensed Clinical Psychologist in at least one state; PSYPACT authorization or eligibility preferred
• 3+ years of experience in psychological assessments with children, adolescents or adults
• Familiarity with complex behavioral health needs such as ASD, ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety and trauma
• Background check required

Required skills

• Psychological and psychoeducational assessment tools (e.g., BASC, Conners, WAIS, WISC)
• Telehealth proficiency and experience testing virtually
• Ability to deliver care virtually or in person, including within your own office space
