Registered Nurse – Per Diem NICU Unit

About the role
Provide professional nursing care in the NICU on a per‑diem basis, delivering assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in accordance with LVHN policies.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for designated NICU patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs.
- Participate in evidence‑based practice and research projects.
- Educate patients and families throughout the treatment course.
- Perform validated technical skills specific to the NICU specialty.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license in Pennsylvania (state of hire).
- Successful completion of unit orientation and maintenance of unit‑specific competencies.
- Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Basic computer skills.
