Critical Care Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)

About the role

The Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Critical Care Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to join its ICU team at Lehigh Valley Hospital‑Pocono. You will work in a combined medical‑surgical ICU, providing high‑quality patient care alongside physicians and other advanced practice clinicians.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 12 shifts per month, typically 12‑hour shifts, with flexibility for 8‑ or 10‑hour schedules.
• Cover day and night shifts, rotating weekends and holidays evenly across the team.
• Collaborate closely with physicians for training and patient management.
• Perform and assist with procedures such as central line placement, arterial line insertion, dialysis line placement, and intubations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year of advanced practice provider (APP) experience.
• Willingness to work flexible day versus night coverage and to start on day shift.
• Ability to work 3‑4 consecutive days and pick up additional moonlighting shifts.
• Team‑oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.
