Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)

About the role

The Operating Room team at Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital delivers complex surgical care across 18 suites, including organ transplants, orthopedics, and neurosurgery. As an RN in this unit you will provide direct patient care throughout the surgical journey, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, implement and update patient care plans, and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments, document physician and nursing orders, and coordinate discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and postoperative care.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.
• Periop 101 training or validated on‑the‑job training for the OR setting.
