About the role

This position leads patient care on a MedSurg and swing‑bed unit during night shifts. The RN uses the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Effectively uses the nursing process to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care.
  • Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies for patients, families, and interdisciplinary partners.
  • Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources, serving as a leader on the unit.

Required profile

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Current RN license in the state of practice and current BLS certification.
  • No prior work experience required.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
  • Ability to apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
