About the role
Join Ochsner Rush Laird Hospital as an Outpatient Physical Therapist, delivering autonomous patient care through evaluations, treatment planning, and progress monitoring. You will help ensure high-quality, patient‑centered services while supporting program development to meet community needs.
Key responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans.
- Assess patient response, adjust treatment plans, and maintain accurate records.
- Achieve productivity targets related to access to care, patient experience, and quality metrics.
- Contribute to program development and enhancement based on patient and community needs.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current state physical therapy license or eligibility for licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong judgment, decision‑making, and interpersonal abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
