About the role
Join Cleveland Clinic’s Mercy Hospital on the 2M Medical/Surgical & Surgical Care Unit, providing high‑acuity care to post‑operative, cardiac and stroke patients. The RN works days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, including alternating weekends and three holidays per year.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care, implement and update patient care plans, and monitor patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments, execute physician and nursing orders, and coordinate discharge planning.
- Educate patients and families about care and recovery.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
- Current state RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least one year of acute‑care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Active Registered Nurse license.
