Registered Nurse – Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center)

About the role

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as a Medical Support Specialist in a plasma donation center. You will work closely with the Center Manager and Center Physician to ensure safe, high‑quality plasma collection and excellent donor experience.

Key responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, and review of laboratory results.
• Manage donor adverse events and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including coordination with the Center Physician.
• Review serological protein electrophoresis (SPE) results and notify donors of unsuitable test outcomes.
• Support employee health programs such as Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccinations.
• Handle employee incident reports and coordinate with occupational health and EHS as needed.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized, supporting investigations of pandemic threats.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification with current licensure.
• Familiarity with plasma collection regulations and medical‑safety SOPs.
• Ability to conduct physical examinations and interpret laboratory test results.
• Strong communication skills for donor education and notification.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, donor‑focused environment.
