Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Night Shift)

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital’s 2 South unit, a general medicine unit delivering compassionate, patient‑first care. This night‑shift RN position supports pre‑surgical patients, those requiring antibiotics, wound care, advanced dressing changes, and bedside procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and follow physician orders.
• Assist with bedside thoracentesis/paracentesis and advanced dressing changes.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate discharge needs.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute‑care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid RN license.
