Registered Nurse – Innovation Cardiovascular/Telemetry Unit

About the role

Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in the Innovation Cardiovascular/Telemetry Unit. The role involves comprehensive patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in alignment with facility policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs.
• Apply evidence‑based practice and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide patient and family education throughout the treatment course.
• Perform validated technical skills specific to the cardiovascular/telemetry specialty.
• Teach, mentor, and precept new colleagues and interns.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license for the State of Pennsylvania.
• Successful completion of orientation programs related to the specialty.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in patient care.
• Physical ability to lift and carry 40‑50 lb and stand/walk for long periods.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• American Heart Association (AHA) certification.
• Basic computer skills.
