Registered Nurse ICU - Full-Time Night Shift

About the role

AdventHealth Kissimmee, a 242-bed community-focused hospital near Walt Disney World serving Osceola and Orange Counties, is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its ICU. The schedule is three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and interpret diagnostic data such as lab results, non-invasive monitoring data and interdisciplinary team notes, according to patient age and condition
• Implement interventions based on nursing diagnoses and set measurable short- and long-range goals for patients
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care, prioritizing follow-up assessments and modifying them as needed
• Complete timely assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors, including signs of abuse or neglect

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree preferred
• Recent ICU experience preferred
• BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications preferred depending on specialty and unit
• EKG competency testing preferred
• Additional licensure or certification requirements may apply depending on unit or state

Pay range: $31.85 - $52.76. Florida Level 2 background screening applies to certain positions.
