Registered Nurse – Electrophysiology

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to join its Electrophysiology Lab. You will work directly with patients undergoing cardiac rhythm procedures, providing care before, during, and after the intervention.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, implement and update patient care plans, and monitor patient conditions.
• Load patients into the operating room, document procedures, circulate, scrub in, or assist as a stimmer during cases.
• Administer prescribed medications, carry out physician and nursing orders, and educate patients and families.
• Assess discharge needs and coordinate post‑procedure follow‑up.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• One year of acute care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required within first year of employment).

Required skills

• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
