Registered Nurse – Dialysis

About the role

The Dialysis Unit at Fairview Hospital provides intensive care for patients with kidney failure and related comorbidities. As a Registered Nurse you will deliver direct patient care, coordinate treatment plans, and support patients and families throughout their dialysis journey.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, administer prescribed medications and dialysis treatments, and monitor patient conditions.
• Implement, update, and evaluate individualized patient care plans, documenting all observations and interventions.
• Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, medication management, and discharge planning.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support required for critical‑care areas.
• At least one year of acute‑care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in dialysis equipment operation and patient monitoring.
• Knowledge of BLS and ACLS protocols.
