Registered Nurse – Complex Medical Care Unit

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Complex Medical Care Unit at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights. This full‑time, day‑shift position provides comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients with complex medical, surgical and telemetry needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, implement and monitor individualized patient care plans.
• Assess, document and communicate patient conditions, adjust plans of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments according to approved protocols.
• Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge planning and ensure cultural sensitivity.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute‑care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
