Registered Nurse – Clinical Care Provider

About the role

Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to designated patients. The role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in accordance with facility policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Utilize evidence‑based practice, participate in quality and safety initiatives, and contribute to performance improvement processes.
• Provide patient and family education throughout the treatment course and support smooth transitions of care.
• Perform validated technical skills specific to the clinical specialty and unit practice.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assignments and successfully complete orientation programs.
• Attainment and maintenance of unit‑specific competencies and basic computer proficiency.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required upon hire.
