Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular ICU

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for its Cardiovascular ICU units. You will join a nationally recognized Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute, providing high‑quality, evidence‑based care to cardiac patients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services in the ICU.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, document findings, and notify physicians of abnormal results.
• Conduct telephone triage and call rotations.
• Administer medications, perform nursing procedures, and establish care plans with patients, families, and the health‑care team.
• Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs, and facilitate discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families and cover other nursing roles as needed.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of recent RN experience.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within two months of hire.
