Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab

About the role

Join the Cardiac Cath Laboratory at Mercy Hospital, part of the Cleveland Clinic Health System, to provide critical care for patients experiencing heart attacks. As a Registered Nurse you will work in a fast‑paced environment, delivering comprehensive nursing care from admission through discharge.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Perform patient assessments, document findings, and notify physicians of abnormal results.
• Conduct telephone triage and participate in on‑call rotations.
• Administer medications, perform nursing procedures, and develop care plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post‑procedure care.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (or obtain within six months of hire).
• At least one year of recent RN experience or two years of LPN experience in a procedural department.
