About the role
Thompson is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide behavioral mental health care on an as‑needed (PRN) basis. You will work with youth and adolescents, delivering medical oversight, medication administration, and coordinated nursing care in a trauma‑informed environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee medication administration and ensure accurate documentation.
- Maintain and update medical records for each client.
- Respond promptly to client medical needs and emergencies.
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members.
- Provide health education and guidance to youth and their families.
Required profile
- Valid North Carolina RN license.
- Associate’s degree in Nursing or related field.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.

Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

- Hourly pay ranging from $35.00 to $38.00.
- Flexible PRN schedule with a minimum of four shifts per month.
