Registered Nurse – Acute Medical/Telemetry Unit

About the role

Join the 4A Overflow unit at Mercy Hospital, a 12‑bed acute medical/telemetry unit that supports patients transitioning from acute care to home or another setting. The night shift RN will provide direct patient care, education, and discharge coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs and educate patients and families.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute care RN experience in a hospital or licensed military RN experience.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in acute care nursing procedures and medication administration.
