Registered Nurse – Acute Medical Telemetry Unit

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic’s Mercy Hospital, a 12‑bed 4A Overflow unit focused on reducing Emergency Department holding and improving patient throughput. As an RN you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient journey, interacting directly with patients and families to enhance their experience and ensure safe discharge.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute care RN experience in a hospital setting or licensed military RN experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
