Registered EEG Technician – Weston Hospital

About the role

Join the Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital team as a Registered EEG Technician, providing patient‑centered neurodiagnostic services in a top‑ranked Florida hospital. You will perform and monitor EEG studies across the laboratory, bedside, ICU and operating rooms, supporting neurologists and epileptologists in diagnosis and care planning.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex EEG examinations in various settings, including bedside, ICU and operating rooms.
• Set up and operate EEG and video recording equipment, ensuring proper electrode placement, lighting, focus and audio.
• Maintain and clean EEG and evoked potential machines, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Document clinical information, abstract relevant data from patient records, and assist in scheduling special procedures.
• Serve as an instructor for new personnel, providing training on EEG interpretation and technology.

Required profile

• Completion of an accredited EEG program or an Associate’s Degree in Electroneurodiagnostics or related field.
• Registered EEG Technician (R.EEG.T) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of experience as an EEG Technician.
• Preferred: prior experience in a hospital setting.
