Regional Transportation Manager – West Region

About the role

The Regional Transportation Manager oversees safety, leadership, full P&L ownership, and operational improvement for Divert’s transportation facilities in the West Region. Reporting to the Director of Logistics, the manager aligns transportation operations with company objectives and customer expectations, using data‑driven decision‑making and defined KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and develop Transportation Supervisors to meet safety, service, and performance targets.
• Establish and monitor KPIs that track network efficiency, cost, and service quality.
• Drive standardization of transportation processes, metrics, and reporting across sites.
• Promote a proactive safety culture, implement training plans, and manage leading safety indicators.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and other regulatory standards through audits and policy reviews.
• Manage regional transportation P&L, including budgeting, variance analysis, and profitability optimization.
• Collaborate with Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality teams to continuously improve driver safety programs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in transportation or logistics management with full P&L responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop supervisory and driver teams.
• Strong data‑driven decision‑making skills using performance metrics.
• In‑depth knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations and compliance processes.
• Experience managing budgets, analyzing financial variances, and driving profitability.
